The beginning of this thrilling story immediately pulls me. Unlike most books this one starts immediately with the conflict. The main character has lost her memory, and woke up surrounded by dead bodies with latex gloves on.
This electrifying page turner takes place in modern day Great Britain. But our spirited yet fearful protagonist knows a deep secret, there is a supernatural secret service working right under our nose. The brave protagonist must work hard to keep others believing she never lost her memory and figure out who is out to kill her. I give this chilling book five stars. Its use of science fiction, fantasy, politics, and murder wraps up for one of the best books I have ever read.
